All Southern Cross Care (Vic) residential homes are fully accredited by the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency, which requires compliance with 44 outcomes in four standards, stipulating how we care for and support residents.

While all our aged care homes consistently achieve 44 out of 44 aged care accreditation outcomes, our focus is not merely on ticking the boxes. We aim to go far beyond the accreditation standards and offer residents the very best in support and care.

All our homes are monitored regularly to ensure we achieve continuous improvement in our management, care, lifestyle, quality and safety programs.

Community Services

As a Community Care service provider, we are required to meet stringent government standards and quality reporting guidelines to ensure we provide the highest quality of support and care to clients.  We are also subject to the Disability Services Standards and Department of Veterans' Affairs audit processes.

Regular internal and external audits ensure that we meet the highest standards in everything we do, including identifying and supporting clients’ care needs, while encouraging social independence and active ageing and ensuring privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
